SecureICA Performance

The encryption algorithms used by SecureICA have been highly optimized. The performance impact of encryption on a 386 class client is slight. On a 486 or higher class client, the difference is almost negligible.

The Diffie-Hellman key agreement occurs during the initial connection. A 386 class client takes longer to complete the initial connection when strong encryption is used. On 486 or higher MetaFrame client hardware, connect time is almost identical with or without strong encryption.
