Hyper-V Virtual Machine Backup Script, which shuts down the VMs.

by Stan Czerno July 21, 2011 09:56 CST

This Script Shuts down all the VMs first then takes a VSS Snapshot, Starts the VMs, exposes the Snapshot and uses robocopy to copy the VMs.
This is meant for a Stand Alone Hyper-V Host with Direct Attached Storage and will not work on a Cluster.

Let me know what you think about the script and if you have a better way of doing this.
